Is there a way for the address bar to not display the actual address of a
page? i.e. The domain is www.myweb.com, the page is www.myweb.com/hidename
and I want the address to display as www.hidename.com assuming I own and am
directing hidename.com to www.myweb.com.
Thank you.

No it is not possible because the control is in the hands of the user not in
your hands. Can you imagine if you can control how my web browser behaves
you can then do almost anything to my machine.

So forget it otherwise everybody would be prolific hackers!

I think you can do a 301 redirect but the content needs to be on myweb.com
and you can probably do this with frames but there is probably a better way
forward.. what exactly are you trying to do?
