I have laptop - Windows XP Pro. Have connected to network but the network
store is showing offline, i.e., *NT5CSC format.

HOW can I get the network store - ONLINE - since I'm unable to review
anything on the network share while it's NT5CSC format (offline).

Also, WHY is the network share being placed in an OFFLINE state to begin with?

DOES ANYONE @ MICROSOFT HAVE AN ANSWER TO THESE QUESTIONS?

Sorry, this is not a conduit to Microsoft support.

Perhaps your problem is related to the issue that Windows only knows about
FAT and NTFS.

If you want to ask Microsoft a question, you'll need to contact
Microsoft.

This isn't Microsoft you're addressing, and nobody here is necessarily
entitled to any answers at all.

This is a peer support newsgroup. We are all just Windows XP users
here, helping each other if and when we can. We are not Microsoft
employees (not even those of us with "Microsoft MVP" behind our names;
that's an honorary title for having provided consistently helpful
advice) except for an occasional employee who posts here unofficially
on his own time.

If you don't get an answer, it can be for a variety of reasons: you
may have asked your question poorly and nobody understood, nobody may
know the answer, the person who knows the answer may have missed your
question, and so on.

Calm down.

This is NOT an official Microsoft forum. It's a P2P forum and no one
here is paid by MS to give assistance.
