You need to check if COMPATIBILITY MODE is turned on for that application. Go
to Start > Pprograms, and then right-click the program to get the Properties
popup. In the Microsoft Office xxxx 2007 Properties, uncheck the box "Run
this program in compatbility mode for:--- This solved it for me.
