This only happens with hyperlinks, where the reference is a number. As soon as a letter is added, then there is no problem. What is also interesting is that if you edit the hyperlink that is only numeric in Excel, the data entry point for the reference is blank and says something like: "<Selected Document>". It's issue 31050, see http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=31050. In OOo Calc a hyperlink is a text field, part of the cell content. In Excel, the link is stored separately from the content. When we load an Excel file where a cell has a number and a hyperlink, we keep the number instead of replacing it with a hyperlink field, so the number can be used in calculations.
