I had a couple of phones on the old call abroad tariff. Orange seem to
have changed me to Camel with no notice.
Camel seems around 30% more expensive for everything.
I am not happy.

Wouldn't you be better of with Lycamobile 075 virtual on Orange?

Yebbut I've just had an email from Lebara thanking me for ordering a
free SIM. They are slightly cheaper than Lyca for phoning mobiles in
Israel.

Lebara are on the Vodafone network, Israel 4p landline 17p mobile
http://www.lebara-mobile.co.uk/en/internationaltariffs.php

I assumed the only reason you were on Orange Camel PAYG
was for the network coverage?
http://petef.22web.net/payg.html

You could call Israel for 3p landline, 9p mobile, through a callthrough
like http://www.1899.com/mobilerates.php

Using giffgaff mobiles free 0800 access
and giffgaff is 8p per min calls, 4p text uk, on the O2 network

I was on the 'call abroad SIM' tariff until Monday of this week, when
they changed me to Camel. I've been on Orange for ages, and Call Abroad
seemed good value when I got it.
I was paying 7p/min to Israeli landlines, before I had 18185, which
seemed fine. It's 10p/min on Camel.

2p/min landline on 18185 from a landline.

Thanks.

My chief grumble is the way the change has been handled.
The lebara SIM arrived yesterday.
