This is what happens when you try to install a program/.prc file to the palm
device from Vista: "No desktop users exist. Create a new user through
Palm Desktop and then start Quick Install again."

I don't get this. Further, Palm in the document below says that installing
programs from Palm Desktop "just will not work" on Vista!!

They say you have to put any program you want to add to the palm on an SD
card now.

Why? What is the matter with these clowns that they can't fix their own
software?!

Palm has decided to opt-out of continuing to operate as a business, so
they're slowly killing their market.

I've been a Palm enthusiast since the late 90s and they've finally
driven me off, it took a lot.

The excesses of modern profit-seeking. First, they claimed that they are
rendering irrelevant nearly all other computing devices as they sit on top
of the hill. Then it turns out once cell phones come out that many people
are using their palms as elaborate contact lists, but there are many like us
who do still want the devices and they have alot of use.

Palm then says to hell with it if it's not a steadily increasing business of
the type that can be sold on the stock market: profits + knowledge of
bigger profits tomorrow + knowledge of even bigger the next day.

The modern profit motive has gone bananas. It's not enough to make a profit,
it has to be accelerating profits.

These greedy companies deserve nothing from us.
