I just moved our portal from a single box to a small farm. But the
searching for wss sites has not worked since.

The errors I get on SearchSettings.aspx are:

The address could not be found, (0x80041201 - The object was not found.
)
The address could not be found, (0x80040D7B - Document filtering cannot
be completed because the document server did not respond within the
specified timeout. Try crawling the server later, or increase the
timeout values. )
The address could not be found, (0x80042404 - A document IFilter cannot
be initialized. The document or IFilter may contain errors. )

I'm running portal 2003 SP2.

I've searched the group, but not found a suitable answer? Anyone help?
