(Solaris 10 x86)

After having input this the terminal freezes:

-> start /SP/console
Are you sure you want to start /SP/console (y/n)? y
Serial console started. To stop, type ESC (

I can log in to the server from a nother terminal and issue

-> stop /SP/console

Which unlocks the first session but the console doesn't start.
(I have no other ways of connecting to this server..)

Any advice greatly appreciated.

Is Solaris actually running on that server? If not, you need to
power it on from ILOM before connecting to the console.
`start /SYS' should do that.

Got it working, had it rebooted, then it started working as expected.
