I am running an HP notebook with MS XP PRO SP2 Media Center. My sys is
6 months old.

It has slowed way down and is having several issues that include
registry issues and when running scandisk I am prompted to load MS XP
PRO SP2 Disk 2. I only have one DVD and when I load it prompts the
same message. What is trying to do is copy files to existing DLL
Cache. HP only option was reload the OS. Do you have any other ideas?

Here is what I see in my event veiwer.

An error was detected on device \Device\CdRom0 during a paging

The CD_Rom drive has probably failed.

Try reinstalling the application that installed SNMP

After fixing the above problems some (or all) of the other may go away.
