It might also be worth trying a System Restore. Judging from these
groups that never seems to work when you need it to, but I have had some
success with it, as long as I'm trying to recover to a point in the
recent past.

I suspect that file is not part of Firefox proper. From the
generated-looking filename, it's more likely to be a part some malware
that has been crudely removed from your system and has left a hole.

Since you have some indication that Vundo is to blame, I would begin by
looking at manual removal methods for that trojan. It appears to be
quite nasty. If you find several methods that seem to be in agreement,
have at it and see if you can *carefully* remove/repair the remainders
of that infection.
