From: Shld44 on 12 Jun 2010 12:25 1st Problem: In Summary Network Reports that I receive daily, I get a Security warning message. When I go to the Security tab in SBS Console I see under Virus protection for file system: - Client computers that cannot be queried: 3 Background: a. Antivirus software: Using Vipre Enterprise 4.0.4301 (latest version) from Sunbelt Software. All computers are reporting to the Vipre manager as active with latest updates. b. Client computers: Mostly Windows 7 and Vista, but (2) XP-64bit and (1) XP-32bit clients can't be queried. Other XP-32bit clients are reporting OK to the SBS Console, so it may be a client computer setting that needs to be adjusted. c. SBS 2008 setup: This was an SBS swing migration from an SBS 2003 server. Probably not relevant. Question 1: How can I get rid of these warning messages since I can see in the Vipre manager that all is well with all the computers in my network? =================================== 2nd Problem: In Summary Network Reports that I receive daily, I get a Security warning message. When I go to the Security tab in SBS Console I see under Client computer firewall: - One or more computers in the network have the firewall disabled: - Client computers with Firewall disabled: 1 - Client computers with an unknown status for the Firewall: 4 Question 2: How do I find out which computers have the unknown status and firewall disabled, and how do I correct this?
