I am trying to install sql server 2005 on windows 2003 SP2 and I am getting
the following error message during installation

MSIEXEC.EXE - Application Error
The exeception unknown software exception (0xc000000d) occured
in the application at location 0x78138aa0

Click on OK to terminate the program

Web searches pointed me to a MS article that I need reregister the
installer which I did - but I still get the error.
