I have SQL2008SP1 (10.0.2531), set new maintenance job with cleanup
(c:\backup\ and * as extension)
Execution is fine, but nothing is deleted. Have some .bak and .7z files in
c:\backup\ folder.

I know there was a problem in 2005, but SP2 helped.
What now?

Thank you

* doesn't work. And also, only backup files will be deleted. So enter bak
and handle the .7z files using some different method.
