Anyone with tales to tell about comparing two or more
SVN _servers_ on OS X ?

I need to run one for a local project--no outside access.
I see one that is "drop-in" and includes Apache 2.
Seems kind of silly since OS X comes with Apache.

"svnserve", built in to Mac OS X?

I don't know what people use on other platforms but most anything that
runs on BSD or Linux would run on Mac OS X too.

Yes. For a while now.

Send responses to the relevant news group rather than email to me.
E-mail sent to this address may be devoured by my very hungry SPAM
filter. Due to Google's refusal to prevent spammers from posting
messages through their servers, I often ignore posts from Google

:-) Yeah, I just learned it was already there.
Lesson learned: Finding multiple sources of
OS X tools offered should not be interpreted
as evidence that those tools are actually needed.

Even if you do learn to speak correct English,
whom are you going to speak it to?
