The dbx files in the message store are notorious for getting corrupted
-- especially the Trash. Find the store folder by going to Options >
Maintenence > Store Folder and take a look at those files. Is the trash
(maybe it's called deleted items) huge? If it is, and you don't want
anything that's in there, quit Outlook and delete the sucker.
