Need advice on overheating Hi, I have an Antec SP-500 power supply that supposedly only turns on the secondary fan when neccessary. Yesterday my monitor went black, I felt the case and it felt quite hot. I rebooted and installed SpedFan to check. How to monitor temperatures to avoid shutdown? When I play a 1080P video on my plasma my computer shuts down after approximately 2 minutes. When in the bios health page I see that shutdown is selected for CPU at 70C and that when in the bios page the temperatures are: CPU 60C , case 35C Of course when my video is playing I cannot see these temperature... 7 May 2008 06:28
