pen drive failure Hi, My pen drive is suddenly given up the ghost. The light comes on but the computer does not recognize it. Jumper settings... Having real problems with a Nikimi hard drive living with a Maxtor one.. The Nikimi is the primary drive (XD800-A). Computer about to be thrown out of the window Bloody computers! My colleague has mongrel PC with the following spec: ECS P61WT-A+ board with a Celeron 766, 384MB RAM, onboard Intel i810 graphics, 10GB HDD and running Windows 98se. Identifying a motherboard Could someone help me ID the motherboard in a colleague's computer which I'll be visiting this weekend. Who has a clue what "nvidesm" is? My old Abit via 333 board PC keeps freezing and in the event viewer I see an error with this nvidesm. Says corrupt data structure. Looked it up and its mentioned a lot but theres no clear reference to what it is. ... 14 Feb 2005 18:46
Emachine only sees half of 256 memory I have Emachine 600IS and went to up grade my 64megs of memory with 256. The local pc shop gave me Kingston KTH6501/256 as compatable with the machine. PC won't boot Hi -- I have a Pentium III computer with an as-yet unidentified motherboard that refuses to boot. The motherboard has an Award BIOS. Identifying mobo on "dead" PC Hi -- I have a computer that refuses to boot, and I can't figure out what motherboard it has. I cannot find anything resembling a name or model number on this mobo.
