Is is possible for spell check to be run on a web page? Unsure. The
question was raised to me.

If you are talking about the pages within the FrontPage client, yes. Look in
the helpfiles for spellcheck

Do you mean spell checking user input to your web pages (forms etc) or spell
checking your own copy before it's published?

The answer is yes either way - just different ways of doing it.

If this is for user input e.g. into a text-area input field (typical use
would would be in an CMS like Content Seed, Joomla, Wordpress, or even a
forum like the MS Expression or Windows forums). For example, with Firefox:

http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Using+the+spell+checker?bl=n&s=spell%20check&as=q

The spell check is a function of the browser. I would expect other
browsers (Opera, IE, Chrome, Safari etc) would have similar capabilities.
