I have a subreport in my report that takes a set of basic parameters.
It does not appear on my main report when the main report is run.

As a test, I decided to create a simple subreport with no parameters
and only a text field. It also does not display on my report.

As a further test, I decided to create an entirely new project with
only a main report and a subreport that displays the word "test". It
will still not display on my main report.

There are no errors at any stage. Does anybody have any idea as to
what could be wrong?

Is it not working in preview tab or when deployed? Is the subreport from the
same project/folder?

The subreport is in the same project and folder and it is not working
in the preview tab or when deployed. It's pretty bizarre. I've been
working with SRS for awhile and I've never seen anything like this.

I wanted to add one more piece of information. If I hide the subreport
(and place a text field on the main report), the text field prints
about halfway down the page, as if the subreport is pushing it down
the page (as expected). If the subreport is set to visible, the text
field prints in the top left corner of the page as if the subreport is
not even on the page. So strange...

I assume you have run the subreport by itself manually providing the
appropriate parameters. What happens when you do that?
