From: Winston on 13 Feb 2005 00:22 My laptop continues to get the fatal blue screen and then it repeatidly reboots. I check the Event viewer and I notice the following on several occassions. Can anyone tell me what might be happening here and give me some possible insight on what might be the problem? From: Ramesh, MS-MVP on 13 Feb 2005 00:30 Hi Winston, DLL File: mrtrate or mrtrate.dll DLL Name: Intuit Quicken DLL http://www.liutilities.com/products/wintaskspro/dlllibrary/mrtrate/ If you've already removed Quicken, then you can remove the orphaned driver entry in the registry. Open Regedit and navigate to: [HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\<driver name>] May be: [HKL\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\mrtrate] Backup and delete.
