Best way to format your disk is to enter a bootable Windows xp disk and
enter recovery console ( or other OS will do just fine if they have that
) and try format from there or from the setup . To backup ur data you
could use a free software like 'Dmailer Backup ? Portable Mac & free PC
Backup Software ?Secure file protection'

The 2nd try you can go to any of your friends and try from there .
