How to get a Santa Cruz audio card working on Slackware64 v13.1 ? I
believe it uses CS46xx drivers and firmware.

Re sound card, I have no idea, but you might want to look at fixing your
PGP output.

For a PCI card like this, the driver should be loaded automatically.

The firmware is built into the driver; you don't need to do anything
about it.

Do you happen to have any problem?

No problems; I just recently switched to Slackware from Mandriva where the
firmware was in a separate rpm and I assumed, of out ignorance, that would
be consistent across all of Linux. I'd just built a new box and actually
hadn't even added the TB card to it yet because I thought I'd need to
collect drivers and firmware beforehand. I also knew that there was no x64
support for the card under Windows so I wasn't sure whether I'd need a
multilib Slackware with a 32-bit wrapper.

Odd... my original post is not showing up on Giganews.

Thanks for the quick reply.

This driver shouldn't need firmware in any Linux. Did you actually
need to install a certain package in Mandriva?
