I have quicken 2006 Premier. I have 2 printers, one I use in summer home
and one I use in another home the rest of the year. Just left summer home
and returned to Florida home, and I am now unable to print any Quicken
reports.

I get the message "Unable to verify the active printer at the system level.
Please verify the printer is turned on and try again."

The printer is turned on. I am able to print a word and an excel document
OK.

Any suggestions on what I can do? Anyone have a similar problem?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Have you tried re-setting the default printer the control panel's printers
and faxes?

did a Google search and was told to change a file name; did this and problem
was fixed. Apparently there is a bug when one uses 2 different printers.

Not a bug, exactly. I suspect the program is working as designed, and using
the printer you originally set as the default.
