Hi There,

I have a weird VPN issue that I cannot resolve.
Hopefully someone out there has had a similar issue.

System Details
----------------
- Windows XP SP3
- Using the Windows XP built in VPN client
- Ethernet connection built onto Motherboard - ADMtek AN983 10/100Mbps

Problem Scenario
---------------------
- Turn on PC, launch and log-in to Windows XP.
- Login to VPN-a. Authenticated Successfully. Can connect to PC's and
network devices.
- Log off VPN-a.
- Login to VPN-b or c or d,.... Authenticated Successfully. Cannot connect
to PC's and network devices.
- Log off VPN-b or c or d,....
- Log back in to VPN-a. Authenticate Successfully. Can browse network &
devices.

- Restart PC, launch and log-in to Windows XP.
- Login to VPN-b. Authenticated Successfully. Can connect to PC's and
network devices.
- Log off VPN-b
- Login to VPN-a or c or d,.... Authenticated Successfully. Cannot connect
to PC's and network devices.
- The cycle begins...

The first VPN connection I connect to works every time all day, can logon
and off as many times as I like. But when I try any other VPN connection it
will not work. I have to restart the PC in order to connect to another VPN
connection and the cycle starts again. Its like something doesnt clear from
the first VPN connection. Even if I log off Windows XP and log back in I can
still only connect to the 1st VPN. Its only on a PC reboot that it fully
resets or clears the connection.

Even though I authenticate on the 2nd VPN connection the send/received bytes
will get to a certain level and just stick, its a very low level like
500bytes but isnt the same number of bytes each time.

I have another PC same model etc.. and this logs onto the same VPN's without
having to restart the PC after the 1st VPN connection.

Many Thanks,
Rich.
