1st why does an operating system need so many security updates? Anybody test
at MS? Driving me to MAC/ *nix.
The symptoms: when I try to open a new URL not in cache I get the
connection not found window and Troubleshoot Network box. The TS works and
says it's fine. If I make the mistake of hitting Repair for the Wireless Net
Connect it gets hung in Disabling Network. I go to Control Panel/Dev Mgr/Net
Adapt/ Intel PRO/Wireless 2200BG and it says "no drivers are loaded for this
device". OK now I'm MSed so I Reboot. It hangs! I have to power down the
machine.

Hi
The security updates are a reaction to what the" Hackers" and the like doing
on the Internet with their negative efforts.
The fact that other entities do not issue any security update is Not
necessarily a good thing.
It would nice if you put some more energy in explaining what your system is
and what you are using (like how your Wireless system is configured and what
it is connected to).
Mean time, maybe this can Help, http://www.ezlan.net/wireless.html
