I've considered building a new variant along these lines (you plug
something into the VIC/64 and then plug the other end into a regular
joystick.

I designed it up over break, but hesitated because I was not sure anyone
would be interested. Maybe there is more of a demand.

Those in the retrogaming community would be interested, like those
at this year's Video Game Summit, Classic Gaming Expo, and
SC3 Arcade Parties.

I finally tried this QuickShot StarFighter out and they don't work.
What a shame, they were new in the box!
