They do (Emsi Soft) have a resident. Anyway have you deleted the A-Squared Update
file and the other ones (I do not remember their names at the moment) from your Temp
folder. Let us know

A2 Service.

This will load as a NT Service such that malware may be removed even if using a limited
user account under Vista nd Windows 7.

You can run the following command lines to stop and remove the service.

sc stop "a2antimalware"
sc delete "a2antimalware"
