I recently updated to Messenger 2009 (build 14.0.8089.726).
I hoped to get rid of the bogus invitation bug ("I have an invitation" nag.
Pressing the link leads me to an http page which explains that there is no
invitation of any sort.)

I suppose this is a complicated bug to fix?
