Hi. Looks like i'm not having any luck with compiling with mingw and msys
either. I redownloaded the 2.8.0 all version. Again my luck runs out
during the make stage. I have spent the best of 4 to 5 days researching and
trying to get wxWidgets to compile propperly but to no avail. I must be
missing something so simple that when someone points it out to me, i'd
probably go take a running jump. Btw the errors are similar to what i
posted yesterday. cheers!

on my machine I found _strdup in windowsx.h which may be part of
Windows Platform SDK.

i've reinstalled my VS2005 and it works now.. and yes the "_strdup" is a part of the Win SDK
