Looked at the ads_sasl_bind code, I don't see any obvious
bugs there. Which LDAP libraries are you using?

Its openldap-2.4.19 and compiled as:

../configure --prefix=/export/home/opt/local --disable-backends --enable-null
--without-tls

Wow, that is strange. I would have suspected a bug in the
LDAP libraries, but openldap 2.4.19 is not really old.

My AD server is windows 2008 Server. I guess the latest stable samba has no
issue connecting to it(?).
