Hi all,

I've been setting up Ciscoworks today to alert me of certain changes
using syslog messages to trigger an email.

What I'd like is to trigger an email after a switch is considered down,
i.e., after the polling interval.

What part of Ciscoworks would I do this in, I've been reading and trying
this all day.

Any help is most appreciated.

Regards

I believe it is in Ciscoworks DFM (device fault module). I'm not at
work right now so can't tell you the exact path, but here is a cisco
link that I think will help (just glanced very briefly).
