From: Peter Durkee on 11 Mar 2010 18:39 Our Exchange server has the same quirk in the message tracking tool, but it isn't affecting how things are showing up in the calendars. If the computers that have the displaced appointments are all good, there might be a problem with any computers or Blackberrys where they were entered in the Calendar. -Peter "rodney" <spam(a)yahoo.com> wrote in message news:OeUFH5UwKHA.4908(a)TK2MSFTNGP06.phx.gbl... > yes, they show the correct time zone, and correct time. > > also, i noticed that my exchange server shows the correct time, and time > zone. but, is an hour ahead. an example of this is when i am in the system > manager, tools, message tracking center and clisk new search, it shows an > hour ahead?? > > Peter Durkee wrote: >> Do their computers show them as being in the right time zone? >> -Peter >> >> "rodney" <spam(a)yahoo.com> wrote in message >> news:u%233DPBTwKHA.1796(a)TK2MSFTNGP02.phx.gbl... >>> we are having a minor issue with a few users with thier calendar being >>> off by an hour? these are all users with new machines, with all updates >>> installed, and also using new blackberrys, also with the newest OS >>> installed. >>> >>> i maintain a windows server update server in our domain, and push out >>> all of the approved updates, so i know that they are installed. >>> >>> any ideas??? >>

We have the same issue with the message tracking being off an hour. I did not find a solution for it yet. Since DST will change back shortly, I decided to wait and see if that corrects the message tracking time. Do the Exchange and the blackberry servers both have the updates for the DST change installed? Are all of their appointments off an hour or is it only for recurring appointments that span both time periods? Here is a tool you can against the user's Outlook http://support.microsoft.com/kb/931667 that may help.

The only thing that I can think of is that the TZ settings have been edited on either the clients or the Exchange system. Download a tool called TZEdit from MS, install it on the Exchange server and see when the DST change is supposed to occur for your time zone. If it's ok on the server, install TZEdit on of the client systems and check to see if the DST change dates match the dates on the server.
