Hello All,

I downloaded and installed the ip filter pkg for solaris 8 from this
page:
http://www.cites.uiuc.edu/wsg/talks/ipfilter/, and i followed the info
to get it started. Anyone get this package working or maybe a different
ip filter package that will allow me to create some firewall rules on
the server. Any suggesstions? When i start up the process i get the
following message:

Pointers to the latest version of the source are on Darren Reed's
ipfilter page:
<URL:http://coombs.anu.edu.au/~avalon/>

pkgrm ipf and install the latest from source.

As of ipf 4, you also need the pfil module. Its available from the
same place you fetched ipfilter.

Alternatively, you can run the latest ipf 3.x.
