A couple of weeks ago I installed MSN 7.0 and it ran smoothly, except for one
day that the following window message appeared when I tried to login:

msnmsgr.exe Application Error

The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000006). Click on OK to
terminate the application.

I restarted the computer, tried to login again, and it had no problems. Then
yesterday the same thing appeared, I restarted three times but now without
success. Eventually I just logged on to my old Windows Messenger version. And
tonight it's the same, so I uninstalled version 7.0, installed 7.5, but to no
avail. Same problem, it just refuses to execute the program. What's going on?

Well, it seems nobody knows how to deal with this...

Something I forgot to add: whenever I try to log in to MSN and it fails like
I described, the internet connection (dial up) also begins to fail, and it
takes a while to come back. Just 10 minutes ago I tried to log again, it
failed and I spent the next 7 or 8 minutes trying to reconnect. Last night
for whatever reason MSN 7.5 worked perfectly, but it's been the one exception
in the last four days.
