Maybe I misunderstood, question...

Can I shut off the AutoCorrect function "replace text as you type" in all
but Access? Yes you can as it is set per program. If you are trying to do
it globally I know of no way to do that. In Word and Excel, got to Tools >
AutoCorrect

Already told you where in Access but you don't want to shut it off there.
Are you using Outlook or Outlook Express probably in the same place there
also.

If that is still not what you want then please provide a clearer question.

Gina,

I soooooooooo embrassed. All this time I thought that setting Auto Correct
was global. You were correct with your original answer.

I can't tell you how happy I am now to realize this.

Thanks,

Malcolm

PS: Is there anyway to have different *.acl files being used by the
different programs?
