Hi,
I saved my site template from source site and uploaded into the
destination site. But when I go to create a site in the destination
site collection, I get the error:
"template you have chosen is invalid or cannot be found". I have read
a couple of blogs about this problem but none of them have solution.
Any help is appreciated!

Thanks,
Madhuri

The publishing feature of destination is turned on. Did you mean
"Office SharePoint Server Publishing Infrastructure" feature? If yes,
then I turned it on at both site and site collection level.Should the
source also have this feature turned on at both site and site
collection level? My destination site is on a separate server than the
source site. Please advice.

Thanks.

template into destination site, I can see it in the template gallery.
I get the error when I try to create site with this template.

well, in template galary, if you take mouse on your template and
choose publish from drop down. you should be able to use it after
publish. let me know if it still failing. and if you still get error,
turn on the StackTrace=3DTRUE in web.config , by default it is False.
you will see the detail error message so you can further see what is
missing.

Hi Baskar,
What kind of template you are using, Is it a built-in template or a custom
template?
