I removed a program (windows live). it appeared as though I had both windows
live and window live hotmail. I wanted to keep windows live hotmail and get
rid of windows live.com. It appears as though I remoed both. how do i get it

Windows Live is a suite of online *services*, some of which include
accompanying or ancilliary software to use the service.

Windows Live Hotmail is the e-mail *service* in the Windows Live suite of
services.

Neither Windows Live or Windows Live Hotmail are anything that you can
install on your host. Those are *services* provided by Microsoft on THEIR
server hosts.

Live.com is a domain owned and operated by Microsoft. It is NOT some
program you install on your host.

There is a Windows Live Mail *program* which is an e-mail client that can be
used with Hotmail (using POP/SMTP or HTTP/Deltasync) but it can be used with
any POP/IMAP/SMTP e-mail provider.

So what did you really install or uninstall? After uninstalling the program
but you want it back, what prevents you from reinstalling the program?

--- Posting Hints ---

ALWAYS REVIEW your message before submitting it. You want someone OTHER
than yourself to understand your post. Also remember that no one here is
looking over your shoulder to see at what you are pointing. If you don't
well explain your situation by providing the details that you already know,
don't expect others to know what is your situation. Explain YOUR computing
environment and just what actions you take to reproduce the problem.

Often you get just one chance per potential respondent to elicit a reply
from them. If they skip your post because you gave them nothing to go on
(no details, no versions, no OS, no context) then they will usually move on
to the next post and never return to yours.
