Answer to your question. I have immedialely installed McAfee Virusscan
Enteprise after installing. After installing a proper Virusscan
Enterprise, I installed the nework card. So the machine hasnt been
connected to the internet or any networks for any length of time without
a firewall enabled and/or without active anti-virus protection?

Kind Regards,

See if temporarily disabling the McAfee firewall and then enabling the
Windows Firewall allows KB960714 to install.
