This probably is a very basic question but I'll ask anyway.

Recently installed Zone Alarm and a program that I am unaware of keeps
wanting to get out. What exactly is WMP54G5v1_1.exe ?

Anything to be concerned about. I see it is running on my system.

I think that's related to a Linksys wireless PCI adapter. Do you have
a wireless PCI adapter installed on your computer? If so, it may be
trying to sync time with a Linksys site. You can submit the program
file to VirusTotal and have it scanned by many of the top anti-virus
programs for free. http://www.virustotal.com/en/indexf.html

That's it! Recently installed Linksys but never made the association.
