If it does paste, but does not handle some characters correctly, it's probably a limitation in Pagemaker you have to live with. If nothing at all pastes, even for some simple text, you might try pasting somewhere else (say Notepad), and then from there to Pagemaker. The last update of Pagemaker happened in 2004. Though that's a while ago, I can't really believe it can't handle whatever Word puts on the clipboard... Maybe look into the Adobe forums: http://www.adobeforums.com/webx/.3c054150 Klaus

Not quite as convenient as pasting, but it would work and it would keep any formatting.
