I haven't been able to connect for a couple of days. I'm just
wondering if it's a problem on my end, or with Corel.

It's not just you. Been down here for days, and some Googling suggests
it's probably not working for anyone.

Yup! Same here (UK)
I'm subbed with three PSP NGs and the last downloads I received from the
Corel server were on Sat 5th June 2010, One from Me which I posted here
@6:18 AM and the last was from John R @7:43 AM.

Nothing since then, and my News client app reports, "Connection to server
failed- Connection refused"

I wondered at first if it might be my NNTP connection, but all the other
servers to which I sub, mozilla and two others are all working okay.

Also tried connecting to the Corel News server from a couple of other
machines, but no connection.

Last connection I was able to get was on the 4th. Nothing since then.
