Nothing wrong with that build list or the gross margin, but the deficiencies
in the first iPhones (against existing phones in the market) were huge and
IMO only suckers bought them.

Recent iPhone 3GS is much better, but still no expansion nor user changeable
batteries.

Now Apple have announced the iPad.

Probably nice and slick, but at the end of the day you will probably have to
buy a keyboard.

The normally staid BBC had a program today and showed several scathing posts

"Apple will sell you your netbook in instalments - screen today; keyboard
next week"

"Apple leading its customers up a proprietary cul-de-sac again"

and so on

so yes aPple philiacs will probably get fleeced again...
