just curious:
why is the error generated at 4 hour intervals?
what event is scheduled?

- and -
is there consensus on resolution?

Please always post the complete event log entry. You can use the
handy-dandy copy-to-clipboard button in the event detail window to help with
that.

Information Store (3240) First Storage Group: The database page read
from the file "D:\Program Files\Exchsrvr\MDBDATA\priv1.edb" at offset
1217933312 (0x0000000048983000) (database page 297346 (0x48982)) for
4096 (0x00001000) bytes failed verification due to a page checksum
mismatch. The expected checksum was 216873161239476751
(0x03027cfdb8feba0f) and the actual checksum was 1277092190161917
(0x0004898232570bfd). The read operation will fail with error -1018
(0xfffffc06). If this condition persists then please restore the
database from a previous backup. This problem is likely due to faulty
hardware. Please contact your hardware vendor for further assistance
diagnosing the problem.

Could be the online defrag. You have the schedule, so have a look.

Yes. Restore the database from the last good backup you have. Or
create a new database and move the mailboxes from the one with the
torn page to the new one. Then remove the damaged database. Then find
out if you have a hardware problem that's caused the checksum error
(it;ll be a failed write operation).

I thought that was pretty obvious from the event log message!
