Outlook 2003 questions do belong here.

One thing to try is to uninstall your antivirus program and reinstall it
without the mail scanning feature. It won't change messages you've received
already, but it may clear up the problem for new ones. Also, try starting
Outlook in safe mode (hold Ctrl when you click its icon) and see if that makes
a difference. If it does, then it's likely one of the add-ins you have is
interfering.
