Thanks to this discussion group, I can now reliably embed music and other
sound tracks. Now, I am trying to embed a movie clip. It is a .wmv file of
about one minute. It plays fine, but I want to embed it.

Sadly you cannot embed movies in 2003

Wait until Office 2010 comes out and you will then be able to embed video in
that version's presentation file. Can't wait. Beta is now available that
will last until October, 2010 but should not be used in a production
environment, only testing.
