Yes, I figured as much. I found the place in the computer's printer
properties to choose black&white or color. I tried setting it to
color with the same results.

I have no way of knowing if the XP driver I have are the correct one,
although it seemed to install okay. The printer itself came with
drivers only up to NT, but not XP. FWIW I downloaded the driver I am
using from driveragent.com.

I found a corrected address at
http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/20165-3-arthur-entlich-cleaning-manual

namely - e-printerhelp(a)mvps.org

As a courtesy to me, since the service I provide is without any cost to
anyone (but me) and is not a commercial venture, I ask that when people
mention my email address that they do not expose it publicly in
newsgroups in the standard form.

Groups like usenet, yahoo, etc, are mined for valid email addresses.
When my email address is exposed publicly like it was below by the OP
(in three different usenet groups, no less) (I changed it so as to not
further expose it) I, or my poor ISP get literally hundreds and
thousands of spam emails to my address.

That sometimes causes my address being shut down for days, which
benefits no one.

So, please do not list my address in public emails in the correct format.

Instead use:

e-printerhelp(at)mvps(dot)org

(at) = @
(dot) = .

Thank you.

Art

I googled "epson stylus 3000 driver" and it took me to the Epson site
and there the drivers are there. I generally do not truust the
drivers from a non manufacturers site if they are available from the
manufacturer.
