ok, it took awhile, but finally I figured it out. Here is the link:

It's hard to know from the format of this forum whether a question is being
worked on or has been forgotten. So, not trying to bug anyone, but being
somewhat desperate, I am trying to attract some attention again. Sorry if this
is not appropriate.

I continue not to be able to create a child page from my template because of
this error: "There is an error at line 128, column 8, etc...:Duplicate editable
regions of "Document head"

I only have one editable region in the first 128 lines of code, and it is not
named "Document head."

My template seems to be fairly close to being able to use to generate child
pages, and so this has really stopped me cold. I've been working on this for
over a week now, and am frustrated and puzzled. I'd really appreciate some idea
of what the problem might be.
