Windows Server 2K3 SP2 Standard Edition with I.E. SP2 Version 6.0.3790.3959;
Server displays the following pop up/error sporactically only to what seems
like domain admin users: "Faulting Application IEXPLORE.EXE, version
6.0.3790.3959, faulting module unknown, version 0.0.0.0, fault address
0x53fd380a. Other events are logged as well: 4:39pm Application Hang, Evt
1002 - EasyPrint_3Months.exe; 5:08pm Application Hang, Evt 1002 -
rundll32.exe; 5:22pm Application Hang, Evt 1001 - Fault Bucket 395###..;
6:44pm Application Hang, Evt 1002 PPReport.exe; 6:44pm Application Hang, Evt
1001 - Fault bucket 416###...; 7:20pm Application ERROR, Evt 1000 -
IEXPLORE.EXE. Other applications that seem to be hanging are PPReport.exe,
Rightcad.exe, RCadmin.exe, i_view32.exe. There's no pattern to the occurance
or freqencies of when these hang of the Pop up/error message is displayed. I
did try the link included with the popup, however, no helpful information was
found from Microsoft. There are 2 other servers running the same
applications which are published with Citrix that don't experience these
issues. Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Typically "module unknown" means the crash occurred due to some kind of
interference by a third-party program. E.g. one possible explanation
which would give you something the check is that the crash address could
represent an offset in a module which was once loaded there, having say
a base address at 0x53FD0000. If you are lucky you might find by
using a tool such as Process Explorer that you do find a third-party program
loaded there occasionally. Of course if it is a case of a module which is loaded
and unloaded quickly you will have to be *very* lucky to catch it that way. ; )

Good luck
