PowerPoint will embed .wav files of only up to a certain size by default.
There is a program fix to allow larger files to be embedded up to 50 MB
(approx) but that is the only sound file type that can be embedded. Now if
you provide additional information we may be able to help more. What is the
file type (extension) and size (look at the file name in Windows Explorer
and then check it's file size)? What version of PPT are you using, 2000,
2003, 2007, etc?

If the file can't be embedded because of size and/or file type then you need
to include the file along with the PPT presentation. Easiest to do this by
packaging for CD (again depending on the version of PPT you have
