We are using Navision Incadea (2.60) 3.70 and are looking at creating
packages in excel and importing using the datport 5025358 - Import Package
Data. We cannot find any documenation on this and would be greatful if
someone could point us in the right direction.

Documentation on what?
1) Dataport 5025358?
2) Dataports in General?

Dataport 5025358 - must be a datapost created by some 3rd party software
add-on. Contact them

Dataports in general - See the Application Designers Guide On the Nav CD
